Pat Meier-Johnson Slice of Life Artist My paintings find me. I come across a setting or a situation and say, “I simply must paint that.” As a native of northern California with a passion for travel, Pat collects the color, light, and spirit of places she visits around the world. Most of Pat’s works capture a slice of life and a sense of place: “I believe that art must come from the heart and what moves me can move others, whether the subject is the wonder of a California landscape, the hustle of New Yorkers, sparkling Lake Tahoe distance swimmers, or a night out at the Jalisco Taco Stand in Sonoma.” Pat lives in Sonoma, California with her photographer/author husband, Russell Johnson. Pat is a graduate of Kantonschule Aarau, Switzerland, and an honors Graduate San Francisco State University Pat Meier-Johnson has also studied with narrative painter Chester Arnold, colorist Carol Smith Myer, Disney Imagineer George Scribner, California painter Tim Horn, and photographer, Joe Baraban.   2. Sales tax will be added to all art purchases unless the item is shipped out of California.
  3. Buyers are responsible for shipping charges, if applicable.
  4. The “Buy It Now” price is 150% of the value of the item.
  5. The artist who created your piece will be provided with your contact information.
  6. After the auction ends you will receive an email with your pick up and/or shipping options. The Artist will either ship the artwork to you, arrange to deliver it to you or deliver the piece to 3 Monkeys Thrift at 118 Fourth Street in Santa Rosa for pickup.
